To continue providing timely, high-quality care at your home, we include a modest travel/fuel contribution based on the distance traveled. This fee helps cover fuel costs, vehicle upkeep, and compensates our team for the time spent getting to and from your location - time they could otherwise be serving you or another client. We base this charge on widely accepted mileage standards used across industries, and it ensures our team arrives ready to deliver the excellent care you expect.

Our Nurse Practitioners provide care for a wide range of adult health needs, including acute sick visits for UTIs, sinus infections, flu, strep, and ear infections; chronic disease management for diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol; wellness and preventive care visits; prescription refills and medication management; and general health consultations. If you are unsure whether your concern is within our scope of care, contact us and we will clarify before you book.
Traditional clinics are built around volume — providers see dozens of patients per day, leaving little time for meaningful conversation or individualized care. At Your Doorstep Medical operates differently: your provider comes directly to your home or connects with you via telemedicine at a time that works for your schedule. Appointments are unhurried, thorough, and focused on you. Members also have direct provider texting access 7 days a week, so you are never left waiting for answers.
We offer two access options. Without a membership, at-home visits are $199 and telemedicine visits are $115. Our adult membership is $99/month and includes unlimited telemedicine and at-home bookings, plus extended provider texting access until 7:00 PM, 7 days a week. A one-time $50 enrollment fee applies for all new patients. A travel and fuel fee of $10–$50 may apply for in-home visits depending on distance.
Yes. Chronic disease management is central to our adult care services. We actively manage Type 2 diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, thyroid conditions, and other long-term health concerns. Our membership model makes the regular follow-up visits, lab reviews, and medication adjustments these conditions require both affordable and convenient — without the overhead of insurance billing or the frustration of waiting room delays.
At Your Doorstep Medical is a cash-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. However, we accept HSA and FSA payments and can provide a superbill after your visit so you may submit it to your insurance plan for potential reimbursement. Payment is due at the time of service. We are happy to answer any questions about cost transparency before you book.
Yes. Prescriptions and medication refills can be issued during both in-home and telemedicine visits, provided the clinical circumstances support it. Your Nurse Practitioner will review your health history and current medications before prescribing. Controlled substances may require additional evaluation per state regulations. All prescriptions are sent electronically to your preferred pharmacy.
